Sounds similar to my first attempts at music...

Which I made with bad software and never released (for a reason), but it was fun! Cheers to your future music creations! I anticipate listening to them!

Mushraven responds:

Thanks for the review, yeah I was definitely using some primitive tools lol

Great tune!

It's pretty uplifting and creative! Up until 1:46 is completely beautiful! My only complaint is that from that point until the end probably would sound better without all of the swirly, fadey, chopey stuff. You might want to write another piano part and extend the song in a new direction (I like the higher keyboard part you introduce at 1:52, before chopping and pitch shifting it, you could possibly extend upon that)... I love the distorted bass tone, and all of the (flawless) leads/solos! Very moving!

Nighthawken responds:

Hey, thanks! That was very helpful and kind of you! Hope you're having an awesome day! :)

It sounds good for the first 40 seconds...

Then nothing progresses beyond that... It just fades to a quieter version of the same thing, then gets louder again and another violin jumps in, and it ends the same as the beginning. I would suggest starting over after about 40 seconds, and writing some new different parts. What you have sounds pretty good, it is just solid repetition. You might want to practice and experiment a little more to develop the sound you have here. I like the piano, violin, and bass set-up though. Cheers!

SniperofGoth7 responds:

Uh, it's a bit hard for me to bond two different parts together, so I just make "variations" of the main part using other instruments... but I'll try to develop it, as you suggested. Thanks for the review!

The bass lines are sick...

This song sounds like it was organized and composed pretty well, but the filler from 2:00 - 2:35 comes off as rushed and thrown together (in my opinion). Other than that, liking the horns and guitar. Pretty damn funky!

ClusterLaw responds:

Thanks alot for your opinions! You are of course totally right about the part 2.00 - 2.35. It's the point where I felt like I needed something different and created it out of need instead of emotion. Often when I do that it doesn't come of as well. But in my own opinion I think a good song doesn't have to be great all the way through and on the contrary a bad part lifts up the rest in contrast. Maybe it was that part that made you comment? And then my work is done ;)

All the best!

Hell yeah, man!

Song sounds great! Progresses very nicely. The only thing I'm not completely sold on is how you handled the space without a beat and the build up (1:00-1:30), but it works. Just a difference in preference. Definitely sounds very professional and is a hot track! Cheers!

Krupinkin responds:

Thnx! Yeah I can not say that I am very professional in uplifting effects... still working on that. It is some kind of a bonus from my DJ past. Switching track to track cool and aggressivly.

Song is pretty good, but has weird sounds...

First, I think cutting out the space between 0:48 and 1:00 might make a pretty big difference in its flow. Even though the intro is cool, I honestly lost interest at 0:48 until I skipped ahead farther. From then on, it flows pretty nicely until 3:36, where you unfortunately have a pretty weird sound... Maybe some people will like it, but it kind of takes away a big chunk of professionalism to me... So, take out those horrible noises and you're great! Cheers!

TigerM responds:

Thank You for listening in m8! =3
Stay remarkable and glad you enjoyed the track =)

Anthem for droning robots...

With a two note bass line. Sorry... The drum part is just not a pleasing rhythm, and the whole song is just a little bit repetitive for me. I think if there were more things happening music wise, a drum part like that might fit. I think for the amount of composition here, the drum part should be very basic and understated so it doesn't clutter anything up. I gave this song an honest rating. I'm sure if you practice and EXPERIMENT a little more, you'll come out with something great! Cheers!

daisukeHiNgod responds:

All i can ask is honesty and your not the only one tha said that so yeah im practicing balancing my musics instruments :D
BTW im a way better animator than a music composer

There are no rules.

I think the bass drum does sound appropriate, once the dubstep starts (which sounds pretty great, by the way). But as far as the intro, I don't think the drum set fits. You might want to change it to something more understated, and let the phased out leads bring you into the dubstep part. Then take off with the drums that are already there. All the squeals and glitches are great! Cheers!

zzbtbest1000zz responds:

Thanks for the feedback! This WAS one of my first dub songs, so I naturally didn't quite know what I was doing. I'm not sure If I saved this or even what version of FL I used to make this, so I can't really return to it.

But thanks again for the feedback :D

I make electronic music. I also play drums and bass.
