Its alright. I can listen comfortably until around 1:26. I think the change at 1:39 should've happened a couple measures/loops earlier than it did. Ehh, and then after that it doesn't really change much. Its a decent kind of track, but even minimalist songs should have more build-ups than this. You just do it subtly, and layer things. Maybe you could add some type of eerie choir or something. I'm not trying to bash your track, just give you some advice. The intro sounded cool.

Pretty cool stuff. The drums come in almost too late. Right at around 1:47 I was SO tired of hearing the same thing, but the drums added some more interest. I almost lose interest again until 2:53. Man, you really tread the line between being boring and awesome. Once I crossed the 2:53 mark it all sounds good though. Around 4:36 I'm really digging this. Nice one, dude. The latter half of the song was really a treat!

Great review. I really really appreciate you taking some time to hit me some comments. It's a slow builder. I've been working at more ambient tones in my work lately. I tried to fill the beginning with various interesting bits woven in. I may have to turn the light guitar up some, give it more presence within all that crushed guitar noise. Glad you dug the latter segment - It's a a sharp turn of direction from the beginning - seems like a lot of my work has been like that lately.

Nice, man! Pretty enjoyable groove. My only complaint is that the bass is not nearly as deep nor as funky as it should be for a killer tune like this!

It's all about 1:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... Alright, alright, 2 minutes was pretty cool, too!

Everything before 0:24 made me want to stop listening to the song. The noise at 0:52 was pretty awesome/unexpected. The beat at 1:21 was a WIN! 1:34 the beat starts getting repetitive. Make some fresh beats. Bake them. Sprinkle them onto this song at 1:34. Then... Masterpiece!

Thanks for the pointers! :)
this took less than an hour to make. It was making new sounds that took long.

I hate predictable bass lines... This bass-line was totally predictable from about the first second. The piano part is cool, although I feel like it shouldn't be played on a piano. Also, WHERE ARE THE DRUMS??!? Pretty interesting composition. Mixed a little poorly -- sounds like most of the parts are competing rather than playing harmony. A guitar solo? Pretty cool and unexpected. The drum part fits, the kit sounds kind of awkward though. The change at 2:50 was cool, but some of the chords from the piano and the synth sound weird together. 3:25 brought everything together nicely. 3:37 was awesome. 4 minutes I'm not going to lie, I basically lost all interest in this song. 4:25 got my attention again, maybe this part should come sooner, cut out 4:00 to 4:25? Strings at 4:49 -- brilliant! End was okay. I get the orchestral vibe, but the timpani sounded a little weird. 3.5 overall.

2.5 just because you have some nice ideas, but it is so unbearably slow to start. If you start listening at 2:00 it sounds pretty nice. Maybe chop or change everything up to 2:00? Also, the part at 3:00 could have been SOOOOO much more epic. It was kind of a let down. The keyboard at the end works as a rough draft. I get the sound you were going for, but I don't feel like it was achieved... This song works as a kind of blue print.

I make electronic music. I also play drums and bass.
