The bass drum that comes in around 0:52 is just annoying... It sounds like you're tapping into a microphone. If you like that sound, its your call. Maybe a timpani or something orchestral to go with the strings would fit better. Good song with interesting composition, aside from that. I like the way you used the vocals.

The song starts off interesting - for a little while. I guess I have high expectations, but NOTHING really happens at all. The lead synth/bass sound gets very annoying. Maybe introduce some new beats, take the song in a new direction, etc. I'm all for musical spontaneity, but the drums sounds here (claps, bells, maracas) come off as random, because they are so inconsistent. This song has potential - the track just seems very stripped down. I think you should try adding layers, changing some instrument voices, adding some new beats. Really dissect it and expand the song into new territory. It was a good effort - I don't know how much time you put into this, but keep practicing and getting better!
Thank you for the advice. I've done some new things with the beat, more dubstepish. The instruments have had a complete overhaul too. As far as time put in, I spent a whopping 10 minutes on this track lol but thanks again for the positive criticism!

It sounds okay, but...
The instrument voices you're using sound horrible! Are those straight up MIDI sounds? Also, add some drums! If you made the keyboards sound real or even semi real and added drums I think this would sound a lot better.
They aren't quite straight up midi, but they're close :P I'll try adding some drums and tweaking that, thanks for reviewing!

Sounds pretty good! To be honest, there really isn't much of a drop - its more of a "get louder." Nothing really changes or happens - It just sounds like an intro to the song. This is a good beat, it would be a 10/10 if you added some new sections/switched up some parts of the song. Keep working on it, its only a minute long!
