Sweet track!

Very interesting use of the voice and bass. They go together quite hypnotically with the beat!

Wonderful instrumentation!

The chimes, guitar, saxophone... Everything is great! I've never heard anything quite like it. I'm definitely a fan of this saxy music! The only thing I would change is taking out the vocals at 2:33 to 3:37... Very enjoyable otherwise!

Rediculous...

Ridiculously GOOD!

RyeGuyHead responds:

indeed?

Once the drums come in, it sounds nice!

It's a nice base, but it's just way too slow and not enough happening for me. If I had control of this song, I would put a big solo over every second of it :P I am a fan of the double bass, but the double bass drum at 2:40 is just weird unless you plan on recording chugging guitars over it. You know what, 3:12 onward is basically good (except the choir sound at 5:20!) You should either shorten everything before 3:12, or expand upon it greatly and make it way more interesting. I can definitely see the effort.

Pretty cool!

I think the clap should be turned out a little bit, and really of the percussion in general. I cant even hear the bass drum, let alone feel it :P The build-up at 1:06 was sweet! At 2:10, I would add some type of oriental sound/filler over the piano, and 2:22 I would turn up the harps (a lot!). Upon my first listen (around a week ago), I didn't like it for some reason, but it was a lot more enjoyable the second time around. It has plenty of twists and turns to keep me interested. I'd say your time was well spent making this song. I enjoyed it very much! This should definitely be in a game!

stormalot responds:

Thanks dude Im glad you took the time to listen to this and my other song, it means a lot! And it means even more than you actually gave feedback and even moreso that you enjoyed the song! Haha thank you man, I'll try to work harder in the future

1:12 was crazy!

The bass is really annoying. It's too loud and not the most pleasing tone. Maybe you should add reverb over the lead or mix in some ambient sounds. Also, a drum beat couldn't hurt :P I can see the potential in this song. Maybe you should try working on it again!

marlgryd responds:

True. I don't like this very much myself neither.

Here's some feedback!

This is awesome! I don't know why after a whole year, no one has commented on this... I have to say, I could definitely see this building up into something bigger! It's still good though for being just shy of 2 minutes! Keep it up! Maybe you could try another track like this.

marlgryd responds:

Thanks! This is the only song I've actually really worked with, and not just killed some hours with, so it isn't surprising that this is the one of my songs that I personally favour.

The song is good...

But I feel like this is the type of song that takes inspiration and turns it into worship... I can't feel the passion behind the technicality. Doesn't sound very unique.

Pretty interesting!

The intro is a little... Slow and beepy... But once the strings come in at 0:27 it sounds great! Very cool track! Keep it up!

Surprisingly cool!

I don't really know if this is industrial. Very beautiful and poppy, though! No complaints except it is very short and doesn't really evolve into anything very different then how it begins. You probably wanted it that way, but it makes it a little boring after 1:10 - which than the song ends anyway. If you wanted to expand it into a full song, I think at 1:10 you should completely take the song in a new direction. Keep it up!

marlgryd responds:

Thank you for your review! I don't really know much about the industrial genre, which explains why the song probably is put into this category.

I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for the tip!

I make electronic music. I also play drums and bass.
