It sounds like the same thing over and over.

I'm not trying to be mean, but you're going to have to hear this. It sounds like something I wrote when I was 12. The voices you choose are very cheesy sounding, and the whole song is about 6 different notes. I'm sure that you could get very good at music with PRACTICE and EXPERIMENTATION! Practice playing keyboard until your fingers fall off, and maybe try some different methods for songwriting. I would also recommend downloading/buying some type of music program/drum machine to create a more solid drum beat also. Good luck!

I may have played this song on a drill before!

The distorted pitch bend that leads into the organ never goes away! Haha. If you want to keep the organ sound and the distorted intro sound going at the same time, I would recommend panning the organ around. I think that would work wonders and make this pretty trippy... Either that or change the drill sound to something less distorted when the organ comes in. Once the bass drum starts pounding, it sounds pretty sweet, but the other distorted/static lead sounds somewhat annoying (like a low quality/bad effect). I like the guitar at 2:44, maybe this should replace the first change, from when the bass drum comes in at 1:22 until the organ comes in. I have to honestly say after 4-5 minutes I completely lost interest in the song and it became agonizing (even though I listened the whole way through while writing this). Overall, the organ part is really sick. The distorted loop from the beginning sounds cool. The guitar is interesting. Blending them all together? Needs a little more work, but you have a pretty strange sound here... Cheers!

This song is sick!

Definitely requires at least two listens, as well as being played loud! The flute and bass in the beginning is genius. 0:48 is crazy and comes out of nowhere. I think you should add a violin layered over the synth that comes in there, playing the same part. You used a flute with the bass in the beginning, I think it would sound great adding a little more of a wind instrument/orchestra touch (especially at the breakdown at 1:36)! Otherwise, it's a powerful jam... Cheers!

Some type of lush industrial soundscape

I'm really liking every sound I'm hearing. The song progresses very nicely. The chimes around 1:20 are the only thing I'm not completely sold on. Although they do sound better with headphones, they don't really mesh with the harshness of everything else... It's like I'm trapped, screaming in this demonic forest, and then the ice-cream man drives by. I like the change at the end, but the whole piece (for me) borders right on being too repetitive. I cant really make up my mind... Maybe throw in a different sound/progression or two? Cheers!

Somewhat disagree with other reviews

I really appreciate this song for its chill feel and droned-out qualities. While its a little minimalistic for my taste, the drums helped me to power through. You have a very pleasant tone here (to me), but I am also a fan of harshness, timbre, and experimentation. So yes, maybe the bass is a little understated, but it works. It wouldn't be enhanced by taking out the distorted high end.

I make electronic music. I also play drums and bass.
